Remix math assumes your leftover is still at the strength you entered — old mix weakens over time, so when in doubt, treat the leftover as a little weaker than its original %.

The math: SH gallons = target % × batch gallons ÷ stock %. Remix uses the same math on what is already in the tank.

⚠️ Always follow your chemical's label and SDS. SH (sodium hypochlorite) weakens with age, heat and sunlight — old stock may be well under its label %, so a batch mixed from old SH comes out weaker than the number on the screen.
